Members of Congress want to see whether White Gun, like Fast and Furious, lost track of firearms that ended up with Mexican drug trafficking criminals.

According to legislative sources cited by the Los Angeles Times, the Republican congress members, which investigated the controversial operation Fast and Furious, are now reviewing a case known as “White Gun”.
The news story, written by reporter Richard Serrano, does not state whether the same controversial tactics could have been implemented in “White Gun”, which Republicans said was in Fast and Furious as well as another operation called a receiver.
“Apparently (under ‘White Gun’) they could also have been lost weapons. How many have come to Mexico? Nobody knows,” said a source in Los Angeles Times.
Update: Mexican President Felipe Calderon has asked U.S. House Speaker John Boehner to crack down on weapons trafficking that has fueled drug violence in Mexico.
Calderon’s office says the president stressed the importance of stopping illegal trafficking of weapons and cash into Mexico.
