Mexico’s Economic Recession: Mexico will see unprecedented unemployment

The Mexican economy isn’t looking to good.. and the fact that the Mexican Government is dealing with its worst violence since it’s civil war is not helping things. maybe its time to talk about legalising drugs in order to end this illicit activity that is hurting  the people of Mexico so much.

as for the economy the government has stepped up its efforts to prop up the peso and the government is going to invest heavily in infrastructure. but it should also invest in its people and in its scientific academic arias , it needs to bolsters its an educated populace if it intends to be relevant in the future and not just rely on money it get from immigrants that send money back home to families.

then comes the oil , its as if all thing that could go wrong are’.. the collapse of  oil is bleeding the government heavily and to its credit it has tried to go green , but it needs to make more cars that are representative of were the world is moving towards “affordable electric cars” and not get stuck in drilling itself out of this mess.

Associated Press: Billionaire Carlos Slim says Mexico will see unprecedented unemployment this year as businesses collapse in the wake of the global economic crisis.

Slim says falling oil prices and faltering exports will undoubtedly lead to an economic contraction this year. He warns that “unemployment will rise as we have never seen in our personal lives” and “companies small, medium and large will go bankrupt.”

The telecommunications tycoon applauded the government Monday for increasing spending on infrastructure and other projects in an effort to salvage jobs.
