The Interior Minister, Francisco Blake Mora said the presence of foreign elements are in Mexico in-order to work in international cooperation in security maintained in accordance with the constitutional and international treaties.
After appearing before lawmakers, along with Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Patricia Espinosa, and the technical secretary of the National Security Council, Alejandro Poire, said the presence of these foreign elements in security has allowed for a more effective fight against international crime groups and cartels.
In this sense, the head of the Ministry of the Interior (Interior Ministry) pointed out that Mexico’s international cooperation has allowed significant progress in the fight against crime and the relationship between the U.S. and Mexico has become more institutionalized, which favors greater complementarity actions in the field.
