Mexico receives more remittances than any other country in Latin America and the Caribbean , with almost 21.3 billion dollars in 2010, a slight increase from the previous year according to the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) & Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) .
The report “Remittances to Latin America and the Caribbean during 2010 and theStabilization after the crisis” reveals that Guatemala moved into second place with about 4.1 billion dollars last year, an increase of almost 5% over 2009. (more…)
The Secretary of Economy (SE), Bruno Francisco Ferrari García de Alba, expressed his confidence the world’s richest man (Carlos Slim) will be generous to the Mexican country that made him Billions, considering 44 percent of Mexicans live in poverty.

The Archdiocese of Mexico has regarded the United States as the “real culprit” in the growing drug violence plaguing Mexico . The Archdiocese said the United States has failed to keep thousands of guns from entering Mexico and has done very little to stem drug use in America.

Mexico’s Federal Competition Commission (CFC) called the members of the Business Associations in the country to prevent monopolistic practices that harm the process of free competition in the markets.
The president of the CFC, Eduardo Perez Motta, gave the Business Coordinating Council (CCE) a Compliance Guide Antitrust Act, which illustrates the behaviors of monopolistic practices and how one should avoid violations of the law, and remedy the situation if an illegal practice is found. (more…)
No State has seen more violent gun crime in Mexico like Chihuahua , it is home to the most dangerous city in the world “Ciudad Juárez”.
In total there have been more than 35,000 killings in all of Mexico attributed to gun crimes ever since the beginning of the Drug War, of which most guns have been illegally sent from United States into Mexico by gun runners. Mexico City .- Citizens will be able to submit complaints or illegal activity through a phone application , it’s free to install for smartphones , The Attorney General of the Federal District (PGJDF) said today.
This application, available starting Thursday, will facilitate the receipt of complaints at the time that someone is a victim or witness a crime said the public prosecutor. (more…)

Thanks in part to President Felipe Calderon Mexico has become one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world. Statistics from various national associations of vehicle manufacturers show that during the last year Mexico managed to climb from tenth place to ninth with a total of 2.2 million units assembled, the position will improve even more in late 2011 because different brands have announced production of its new models on national soil.
